HD Ferries reaches 50,000 passengers
into and out of St Malo

Tonight Donna Jacklin became the 50,000th passenger to travel on HD Ferries between Jersey, Guernsey and St Malo.

The Jacklin family including Donna, husband Mark and baby Abigail were making their first crossing on HD1 to St Malo.

Mike Pitman HD Ferries port supervisor is seen here in the picture presenting Donna with a bottle of Champagne to mark this important milestone in the new HD Ferries service between the Channel Islands and France.

The other pictures show Captain Mik Henriksen and his officers welcoming the Jacklin family to the bridge and the onboard services staff showing the Jacklin family receiving a traditional HD welcome on their crossing to St Malo.
