Eurostar is the high-speed passenger train linking London with Paris and Brussels via the Channel Tunnel.
It is run by a consortium of the French railways (SNCF), the Belgian railways (SNCB) and Eurostar UK Ltd. It has been running since 1994.
Gare Du Nord is a railway station and we have included it here as it is the arrival point for Eurostar services from London Waterloo and Ashford Eurostar rail. Being in the city-centre, Gare De Nord rail station is well connected for exploring the rest of Paris and this is always well worth taking to account when you are comparing Eurostar fares and timetables with flights.
As a major national and international train station, Gare De Nord terminal has all the facilities you expect including currency exchange, internet access, and a range of car hire companies.
Gare Du Nord is also an impressive piece of Neoclassical Architecture. Gare du Nord rail terminal provides easy connections onto the Paris Metro network, and a good range of bus connections. The Regional RER network (lines B and D) also passes through Gare du Nord.
Paris is the connecting city for Spain, Italy, Switzerland and more, with 6 main stations servicing high speed and local trains. Taxi's are available between Gare du Nord and connecting stations, or you can travel by Métro or RER.
