Rønne is a town and former municipality in Denmark on the island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea. Bornholm island is a favourite of the Danes in the summer and it has a picturesque landscape, including dramatic coastal vistas and rich farmland as well as peaceful and serene woodland.
The island of Bornholm on which Ronne is located is also great for cycling, with more than 200km of cycle routes. The municipality covered an area of 29 km², and had a total population of 15,018.The former municipality is now included in the municipality of Bornholm. Bornholm also has three good, vastly different 18-hole golf courses, all located within 25 kilometers of each other.
